This fiberglass work, called “Laundry Girl” was originally created by the sculptor Don Bartlett of Columbia, Missouri. The work was purchased by the Knowell family of Columbia, Missouri in the 1960’s. The work showed years of damage and fading of the fiberglass. After repairing the damaged areas of fiberglass, the work was repainted with a color match of the original surface and clear coated with a satin sheen UV protectant. The restoration took place in 2007. |
